BBH x AWARE Singapore: She’s An Icon
As part of the D&I team at BBH, this initiative remains close to my heart. For International Women’s Day 2021, we did a survey amongst Singaporean women and uncovered that only 1 in 10 of them will choose other Singaporean women as role models - it’s not that they didn’t exist, it’s just that fellow Singaporean women aren’t aware of them.
To solve this visibility issue, we worked with the gender advocacy group AWARE Singapore and several local female illustrators to create shareable social stickers featuring 40 Singaporean women icons.
I managed to put my social-media-stalking skills to good use as we hacked the most-used hashtags around women's empowerment online and reached millions globally.
